Hope you feel better Kira. Thanks for taking the time to make this video for us. Get some rest
Being from New Zealand I'm actually glad there won't be Oceanic servers. They would end up dead population wise. Not sure why people would even think there is a remote chance of an Oceanic server to be honest . There just isn't the population to support it. It's just something we've dealt with since the days of Dialup. We'll be fine.
But being a Korean game with action based combat I assume there will be certain classes that play better for us higher ping bastards lol. ( thinking Blade and Soul here) Dunno if something like exitlag would help. But I've seen vids of people playing from overseas on the KR version seemed pretty smooth. . Large scale PVP will be interesting though.
Frankly, I'm sick of the "in-game transactions" where someone with a huge wallet will always win. A cash shop should be purely optional, in my opinion, with cosmetics, non-game breaking items for everyone. PvP based entirely on skill would be refreshing. Should gear matter? Yes, but not if some person can just buy all the elite stuff and win with zero skill. Earn the gear, then be actually skilled. A MMO I played a LONG time ago had a skill-based PvP system, that was freaking good. It was harder to kill better geared players, but if you were more skilled in the PvP combat than they were, you could beat them. It wasn't like a level 5 guy could be a level 120. You had to be similar level to inflict proper damage.
korean mmo's use pvp as a crutch to cover for the fact they dont really understand roleplaying as a concept…doesnt make korean mmo's bad…just dont expect to go into one with similar expectations as playing say ffxiv or you'll end up disappointed.
Not down with lots of vertical progression, I want to have large scale and balanced PvP where I win or lose on skill, not time played leveling past the softcap. I just have too much life that's not playing games to compete with kneckbeards on grinding.
I just hope this game is not as grindy as BDO, the grind in that game has ruined the game for most of the people I have ever known to play that game.
I feel like people who have lots of time to play games are a lot more keen to see those game experiences and loops be drawn out or repeated en-mass. Really if you think about it, at some level, drawing out a game and making it really addictive is probably not healthy.
This game has made a huge leap since it was originally announced, hope it does well in NA
Honestly the aerial combat in AIR didn't feel like you were actually in the air to me. Same as ground. Stay healthy son.😷
I think the air mechanic when done well would be amazing.
Will there be a KiraTV 'glossy 1980s Yngwie Malmsteen style' hair cosmetic available in the cash shop? This is what we need to know.
ye dude rest the 2nd jab if u not had covid before can be rough, ur looking really well thou 😉

"You gonna get fucked, and not in the fun way we like it". Gold!
As a Dutchy I am happy with the Amsterdam EU server, if only I liked PvP.
Get well soon buddy!
So, it looks like Guild Wars 2 with cutesy crap and PvP–which will inevitably become a flavor of pay to win. I'll pass and wait for MO2.
is there any new MMO that ISN'T using the PvP crutch for endgame "content"?
i agree horicontal progression gear wise for pvp is nice but not when the game is hardcore p2w which it will be anyway
Feel better soon, Kira. And thank you for bringing us out this video all the same.

do hugs not drugs
Looks good but this is not for me, I don't like PVP in my MMO's. I'd be the one asking for a PVE server.
Get lots of rest Kira, we'll be waiting for you.
